In August 2020, The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute launched a series of virtual conversations called “Meet the Mayor.” In this series, Institute Director John Shaw hosts discussions with mayors from different Illinois communities. They talk about the mayors' career and the challenges and opportunities civic leaders and their constituents face.
