1. I-64 East to IL. Rte. 127 South, exit 50 to Nashville, IL (Right off exit)
2. Follow Route 127 South to Murphysboro, IL
3. At the stoplight in Murphysboro, turn left on 13 East to Carbondale
4. Turn right on U.S. 51 South (Also called University Ave.)
5. Follow U.S. 51 South (University Ave) to SIU Carbondale entrance (stoplight), turn right on to Lincoln Dr.
6. Right into the first parking lot after the Neckers Building (three-story brick). Look for the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute Sign.
7. The institute is immediately on your left as you enter the parking lot, located in the Forestry Building.

2. Follow directions below from Marion, IL

1. Take 13 West to Carbondale
2. Take a left on U.S. 51 South/University Ave.
3. Follow U.S. 51 South (University Ave) to SIUC entrance (stoplight), turn right on to Lincoln Dr.
4. Right into the first parking lot after the Neckers Building (three-story brick). Look for the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute Sign.
5. The institute is immediately on your left as you enter the parking lot, located in the Forestry Building.

The lot attached to the Institute is an SIU Carbondale Blue Lot, meaning only blue decal eligible faculty and staff may park there during the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM. 

Students must park accordingly in parking lots assigned to their color of decal; no exceptions will be made to park in the lot outside of the Institute during business hours.

Our lot is checked regularly by SIU Carbondale Parking Division and you will be issued a ticket if parked in the wrong color decal parking lot. 

If you (non-campus affiliated only) are attending an event or meeting at the Institute during business hours, you may be issued a guest parking pass by an Institute employee. Parking after 4 PM is open to everyone.

If you are attending an event at the SIU Carbondale Student Center, the lot in front of the center includes several visitors (non-campus affiliated) and metered parking spots.
